Wow, I've never drawn anything from a dream that bizarre! Is there a story to the bears? Everything seems so symbolic and mysterious in the painting, I can only begin to imagine what each element might represent.

As far as I remember, they were brought into this stone yard to be killed by some sort of magic lightning. It wasn't my dream, but it did feel very inspiring to me as well.

In my interpretation, the bears have human-like intelligence. They have been wrongly accused of something. The people who want to kill them are not evil, it's just the way things are. The bears know they can't change their fate, but state their innocence one last time, while accepting their own deaths.

Thanks for replying. ^^

Oh, didn't know it wasn't your dream. XD Was it from a friend, or mythology? And that honestly makes the most sense of the chains and lightning; a really sad story of false justice, but they carry on anyway.

It was from a friend :)
Thank you for commenting! I always like it when people take the time to actually think about my work rather than just visually appreciate it for 3 seconds :)

You're welcome. ^^ I use a lot of my favorites as wallpapers, so I spend a lot of time looking at the art than just on dA or in slide shows. Really makes me think about the piece itself as I slowly observe all of its little details over time.

Ah yes! When I saw that Windows 7 had this nifty feature that changes the wallpaper every few minutes if you give it an image folder to select from, I pretty much barfed rainbows. I want to save all my dA favourites and make my wallpaper cycle through them. One time, when I have a free Sunday... :D
Thanks again and keep being awesome! :peace:
